I've gone through so many flimsy mesh laundry bags, that I end up tossing in the trash as they easily rip. I've also tried the pop-up round, drum bags. They're colorful but are heavy and cumbersome for me to carry. This is the BEST and I've tried every design. It's sturdy, easy to clean, with great cushioned handles! I admit, I bought it primarily for the color and handle design! It really stands out from the rest when I go to the laundromat. I read other reviewers that complained it doesn't stand up on its own, flops over. It's been great standing upright! Other complaints about the handles falling off. I load this to the top with clothes and it's so easy to carry with my arthritis! I can't imagine how their handles are falling off, with regular use. I bought the Large and worried that it'd be too small. Very happy that I didn't need the XL. This carries a large load washer capacity of clothes fine. If you're a person that waits a month to do laundry, then you'll need a bigger boat! My washer broke and until I can afford the costly electronic repairs, I've been going to the laundromat. When I bought this I thought I’d keep this in the laundry room and only use it occasionally. I was wrong. I use this all the time! It’s made a thick canvas and it holds a ton. Usually, it holds two loads of laundry. It’s also very light and once you start adding laundry is stands up and holds its shape. Although because it’s light weight it can easily be compressed and stored away. I think at its price it’s excellent value for money and I find it to be one of the most versatile laundry baskets I have, as the handles make it easy to move around. I bought the gray, and it’s held up well and look cute. It’s not a fancy hamper, but it does its job and after a year’s worth of weekly use it still looks almost new.
