I'm always on the lookout for good hydrocolloid patches, but most packs only come with one standard size. This kit from Cabiuty is a total game-changer because of the variety it offers. I removed some stars from this product, but I still think it's an okay product as far as its use. I removed 2 stars due to the patches not always sticking in place and another star for having less circle-shaped and more rectangle and square-shaped patches and their use. I am an AVID pimple patch user. I use them probably every night on any dark spot I'm trying to lighten or maybe an area I touched on my face a lot during the day, anywhere. My goal every night is to wake up with a fresher face than when I went to bed and patches usually help quite a lot. I usually buy brand name items for my face so this is the first time I'm trying patches from amazon. I first realized this product has thicker patches. I think it works to its detriment because I think because of their thickness they are somehow less sticky and sometimes rub off when I'm asleep. I never had that problem with other brands that have thinner patches. The ability of these patches to lighten areas or get rid of any blemishes overnight is kind of hit or miss. I think it does maybe two thirds of the job as my usual patches, but they do something for sure. Maybe just not as effective for some reason, but they do work. The shapes really threw me off. You get a few sheets of the circles and a lot of the rectangle and square sheets. I started cutting them into thinner pieces to use, but they are honestly difficult to cut. If they stick together (and they are big) they kind of become unusable because they can't come apart after that. I did use the rectangle ones on my chin when I had hormonal acne and it was really helpful to cover a larger area compared to the classic circle-shaped. I also use the square ones on my cheeks to kind of tame a larger area overnight. I did notice when I wake up and remove it, my skin kind of looks lighter so you can see a lightened patch on my face in that funky shape. I've had that happen with other patches before, though. When I put on my makeup, it goes away so it doesn't bother me since you can't tell. Overall, I think this is an interesting product. The shapes are weird but they have their uses. If you have a wide area to cover, I can see how it can be useful. the circles are the perfect size, just wish they stayed on better overnight.
