To be up front, not only am I a 35 year old dealing with acne for the first time ever, but I'm also a picker. I have a really hard time leaving pimples and other skin defects alone. I'm heard great things about hydrocolloid patches and decided this was a great time to give them a try. First, the price and package size and variety seem to be unbeatable. I was initially looking at brand name acne patches in a brick and mortar store, and I was horrified to see a 24 pack for over $10. I need to do something about my acne, but not THAT badly! On the flip side, here there are 264 patches (in 9 different sizes!), currently selling for less than $10. Sign me up. Upon opening the product packaging, there was a very strong smell that I couldn't put my finger on. I looked over the packaging to put a name to the ingredient I was smelling, and I was surprised to find there are no ingredients listed whatsoever. I'm assuming they aren't required by law otherwise they would be there, but I still see ingredients listed in cosmetic and medical products more often than not. The lack of ingredient list wouldn't bother me as much if it weren't for the fact that the product listing says 'made with 100% hydrocolloid and no added chemicals or fragrances', when that cannot possibly be the case. Giving them no info, I asked my family members to smell inside the package and they all agreed-- it smells like Vick's VapoRub. This isn't a bad smell, but it's a smell that has no obvious reason for being there, and that makes me somewhat uncomfortable. That is my ONLY reason for giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. Having said that, these patches worked great. While they aren't invisible (nor do they claim to be), the moment you stick one on it makes a big red pimple a lot less jarring to look at. If you look at the attached picture of my forehead, you can tell where the spots are, but it isn't like 'omg look at those volcanos on her forehead!' I applied a bunch of different sizes to a bunch of different areas of my body that either had pimples or had been picked at, and then went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning and removed the patches, you could see all the gunk they had 'sucked out' now inside the patch, and the pimples were visibly healing. An unexpected plus for me was that having my pimples and other skin defects covered with these patches made me far less inclined to pick in the way I normally would. Score! Overall, great product, great price, great results, not-so-great transparency when it comes to the ingredients. These worked well for me, but I will buy a different brand going forward just because I simply do not know what is in these. Read more

These don't stick on well if there's any product on your face. And half the time they either do help the targeted area, or not at all. I would recommend leaving them on overnight or for a LONG time for them to work at least a little bit. Read more
