A1 Quality and Design (Large Print, Large Key, with Optional Lighting Scenarios) = A1 Value .....
Had decided to give this brands product a try as a replacement to another brands 'similar' keyboard that had finally showed its signs of key wear (the dreaded fading of most used keys) thou the rest of the board had been fine thruout its everyday usage for approx ---> 12+ months. With that said ... this item had arrived in good time - nicely boxed - operated corretly in all aspects right out of the box. This one appears (layout) and operates (some functions) a tad differently. Has overall similar dimensions of 17 1/2" L by 7 1/2" W with an integral rear rise of a half inch and the option to fold out a pair of rear riser feet for another additional half inch. The minor drawback - these r wired (not wireless battrey operated) - thou not personally of any concern and only eliminates the battrey replacement deal. This item basically pluggers right into a usb 'a' (larger input) having a generous cord length of more than 4ft. Once hooked up - PC running Win10 found it within seconds. Do like the fact this has an ez change color rendering method and memory once it goes to sleep - light off after period of time of non-usage. The key spread of having larger keys (which worries some users) is personally not an issue - personally never having to continually re-type any scribbles made. Thou this has only been in usage for approx a month - can dearly say glad I opted for this item - there's nothing negative to report here 'as of yet' anyways. All I can add is this - IF the others similar product lasted over a year - hopefully this one holds out as long ... IF this one fails at any point sooner - I'll surely edit to add to the scribbles posted here as to what, when, why, and the outcome. As for value ... both items price points were close - currently this ones listed a few bux more. Personally I wouldn't b without a larger keyed, ;arger initialed, optional lighted keyboard myself.
