Hoped it would move around on its own, but it lights up instead. Well made. I just have to make sure the cap is screwed on extra tight after each time I switch the toggle to the on position. I like that it makes no sound and uses a usb-c charge port. Read more

All the other balls are motion activated, so when the ball lays in the grass at night for even a short little while, it turns itself off and you can’t find it. This one stays on for five minutes after it’s activated, it’s fantastic, the absolute best. The PROBLEM is the on/off switch. It is crazy small and so delicate that it snaps off after several uses and renders the ball inoperable. I’ve had this happen in four balls, once after only three uses. Please, I hope the company will upgrade the On/Off switch so it can last a little longer. It’s really a great ball otherwise. The on/off switch should outlast the battery. I haven’t had one switch last more than a month Read more

Here I was looking at this ball as an investment for my blue heeler. He adores playing with light up balls but we could never find one that’s lights didn’t stop working. So upon discovering this one I thought well it’s super expensive but it should be worth it. WRONG!! They last about 3 weeks before the inner part becomes loose and you can no longer charge them. I’ve also ordered replacements and the inner part already came broken. THIS IS A HUGE DESIGN FLAW bc I thought well I have to try to be as easy as possible on the ball so the inner part doesn’t come lose but of course this last purchase not even 2 days into play it’s became lose again and there is no way of fixing it therefore no way of charging it. It’s a ball for dogs so they cannot expect that the inner part won’t come lose. This company really needs to fix this flaw. I know I’m not the only one and if you expect ppl to pay $20 for a ball that doesn’t work after a few times then you’re going to just have multiple returns and bad reviews. At least we found another seller that has light up balls that last much much longer than these and only at a fraction of the cost. The difference is you can’t recharge them but at least this way when the lights stop working we didn’t fork so much money for ☄️💩 This only adds to my want to create a light up ball that actually lasts and doesn’t have the stupid lights go out all the time. I know there’s plenty of cattle dog owners that are feeling me Read more

We ordered this ball to help keep our super high energy dogs exercised two or three times daily. During the winter with the shorter days; "work-outs" often end up in the dark. We have tried "glow in the dark" options and found them ineffective and frequently missing in action with any significant snow accumulation. We need a lighted ball that could withstand 30 to 40 flights per day. Having a "rechargeable" ball was super appealing. The ball gets "launched" using another well-known canine ball chucking device, traveling at ranges from 100 to 250 ft into grass pastures. The ball is well constructed with the light-battery pack encased in a hard plastic cylinder, the switch and recharge port are protected by a screw on cap, and it has a softer surface for the dogs to grab and carry it. The LED puts off a solid orange glow with battery saving "auto-shut off" feature when it is not in use. It provides a cool visual flying through the night sky and it easily spotted down range after landing. The ball worked for about a week with great success, there is enough soft surface to produce erratic bounces to keep the dogs stimulated while chasing it. Then on one fateful launch it died on impact; going dark and disappearing into the tall grasses. The next morning the canine search and rescue team recovered the downed ball. It was quickly evacuated to the safety of the launch site. The crash investigation and inspection revealed the robust component case was not damaged and did not expose the battery to the dogs. Earning the sturdiness rating of a solid five stars! The working theory of the doomed flight is the circuit board was not able to withstand the sudden impact; with either a solder joint breaking or the LED was damaged by the sudden high speed shock. Our dogs were only able to enjoy this amazing ball for a short time due to a the compromised electronic components durability (three stars) and short longevity (three stars). Concept... if it were an option to rate. Five Stars Read more
