I love the lavender color! The bag seems very well made and is very lightweight. The zippers seem like they are good quality. The wheels roll smoothly. I like the outer compartment, so I can put my iPad, travel folder with reservations, etc. in there and not have to open the whole suitcase to get to them. Its size fits the airline standard for a carry on bag for the overhead bin. That is as long as the expansion is not used which would put it over 10” depth. After my first European trip, I concluded I needed a different set up for the 2 items I carry on. I’d traveled with a 16x13x7 soft sided bag and 18x14x8 hard sided bag. United was fine with the combination, except the one flight that had to be changed due to our previous flight arriving late. The new flight, there were only 2 premium seats left, which I told my mother and sister to take. My seat was in economy, with only 1 carry on allowed. I resorted to telling them at the gate, my 2nd bag was going to be put in the overhead bin where my mother and sister would be in premium seating. They begrudgingly allowed that. Our 16x13x7 soft sided bags fit perfectly under the seats, unless we had an aisle seat which now seem to have much less space for a bag. Air Canada was not happy at all with my 2 “bags.” They became overwhelmed with some 8+ passengers; 2 in wheelchair and the rest needing wheelchair assistance, that they gave up on me and just let me board. Our mother was one needing wheelchair assistance. After that whole experience with Air Canada, we will avoid flying with them. E of that trip, I decided to change my 2 carry on bags before our next international trip. Now, with a 17x10x9 personal item bag and this Larvender bag I can honestly say I am completely in compliance with the airline sizes for carry ons. I will have to be careful not to pack too much in it though, so I can lift up into the overhead bin myself since the airlines now state passengers have to be able to that themselves. I was a bit skeptical about ordering luggage online and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this suitcase. I purchased this for a trip to Europe and was able to use it as a carry-on (we flew united and lufthansa). The color is so cute and the shell almost looks glossy which felt so luxe. The TSA lock worked super well and the zippers were good quality. I was able to pack for 17 days using this carryon and a backpack so I'd say it's a good size. I loved traveling with this because I was always able to quickly find my suitcase in a crowded room, it was small enough to carry up and down stairs in a hurry, and the wheels roll so smoothly. Super cute. Great size. Rolls AMAZING! The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the zipper part, I feel is upside-down. I usually prop my suitcase up like in my attached picture. You'll notice that if you have items in the zipper area (mesh area too), everything will fall out when unzipped. Read more
