After trying a couple of the fancy 3-in-1 strainer/basket/stopper, I ended up with the basic/simple/effective design of them all - smaller holes/mesh (to catch so many dried spices I cook with), perfect rim/fit for my old sink, ease of dumping the basket, and ease of cleaning (I have not tried washing this in the dishwasher yet). Overall, great price, excellent design, and effective drainage, and quality sturdy material. Read more

I have tried out quite a few mesh drains for the kitchen sink. Ours is a standard 4 1/2" opening kitchen sink, with a garbage disposal on the other side. This Lasshswa Kitchen Sink Strainer fits the opening PERFECTLY. More importantly, the outside edge of the strainer lies flat or flush with the surface of the sink, which many of our old ones seemingly couldn't manage to do. This allowed little bits of stuff to escape around the outer edge of the strainer, which can add up to, eventually, a slow-draining sink. This one fits nice and snugly. It's shallower than the last one, but it's deep enough to catch plenty. The mesh is small enough that it catches everything that needs to be caught. But it isn't so tight that the drain is constantly getting clogged with a layer of invisible particles. Just a tap against the edge of the garbage container to clear it out, and it goes back in the sink and it quietly does its job very, very well. It's nice that you get two strainers for the price. I have a hunch this drain strainer is going to rust in the future some time, the way our old one did. However unlike our old one, the mesh is of much nicer construction, and is a tighter weave, so it is catching more of whatever is coming off of the dishes. And there is a spare one, and if that one rusts, the price for another two of these isn't going to break the bank. It's funny how satisfying it is to find the perfect little something that works well like this. Sure- it's only a sink strainer. But its construction and performance make your day just that little bit easier. As day to day life becomes more challenging, little things that do that for not a ton of money are more appreciated. Definitely going to buy back ups of these great little strainers. Read more

The best particle catcher for your sink. I was shocked at how much these strainers can catch while you cook & wash dishes in the kitchen sink.Nice & sturdy stainless steel strainers you can throw in the dishwasher. Read more

This two piece sink strainer set is fantastic. Well constructed. Rim of strainer fits basket well. Bright chrome finish. Appears to be a durable metal. Fits my double sink drains like original parts. Actually cover drain rim. Good value for the money. Would buy them again but probably won't need to as they could last for years. Read more

You get what you pay for. These are relatively cheap and so is the quality. Gets the job done I suppose. But stuff does stick to it when emptying and you have to get in there and scrape/ clean it. Fits an average size sink drain. Easy enough to clean- can toss it in the dishwasher. Nothing fancy but that’s okay for what it is. Read more

Ok, I had doubts on these for the price. I have tried out quite alot of the stainless steel mesh drains for the kitchen sink. And not a good experience with some. My sink is a stated double sink, with a garbage disposal on the other side. This straomer fits both side openings PERFECTLY. And the most important thing is, the outside edge of it lies flat with the surface of the sink, the others would stick up allowing lots of little bits escape around the outer edge of the strainer, which can add up to a slow-draining sink. This one fits nice and snugly it's deep enough to catch plenty. The mesh is small enough that it catches everything that needs to be caught. But it isn't so tight that the drain is constantly getting clogged with a layer of invisible particles. Just a tap against the edge of the garbage container to clear it out, and it goes back in the sink and it quietly does its job very, very well. It's so nice you get four strainers for this price. Definitely going to buy back ups of these great little strainer Read more

This sink strainer is amazing! It even caught the tiniest bits like Korean chili flakes from my kimchi soup and finely grated Parmesan cheese. Our 100-year-old house has never had a garbage disposal or dishwasher, so we hand-wash everything. I’ve always struggled with coffee grounds slipping through and worrying about clogs. The cheap strainer I bought from Daiso didn’t stand a chance. This one is a game changer. It comes in a two-pack and costs a little more than the versions at Asian markets, but it’s absolutely worth it. The quality is excellent, solid, and has a good weight to it. It doesn’t feel flimsy or light at all. 10/10 would recommend! Read more

Great strainer for the sink - the mesh is tight enough that it food won’t get down through it & the outer ring is pretty flush with the sink drain - since it’s metal it’s also keeps food from slipping down on the outer edge. Great alternative if you don’t have a garbage disposal! Would buy again! Read more
