You can get into the pool and after that you’d still smell the fragrance, amazing smell, amazing quality, amazing price and amazing longevity, but I do have to say that the smell is not for everyone, is strong and not common Read more

Such a unique and lovely aquatic, oceanic scent for someone whose skin does not play nice with traditionally citrus or sweet/fruity warm weather fragrances. Atlas is salty, a tiny bit powdery, a bit metallic and mineral-esque with just enough green freshness and tiny, tiny dose of sweetness to not be off-putting but rather, to inspire curiosity of where you just came from. It really feels like a blanket of sea foam at high-tide without the stale animalic stank of actual ocean water. On my skin, it lasts easily all-day or overnight, albeit becoming a skin scent (to my nose) after about 6 hours or so? The initial spray feels like sea mist falling down on you after just crashing into a bunch of rocks on the shoreline of the beach. The scent is a little funky and weird but sophisticated and so much more elevated/elegant than scents that are traditionally marketed as hyper-masculine 'summer freshies'. I guess this won't be for everyone; or perhaps I'm just in the minority. But to me, this has immediately become a signature spring/summer scent for me. And I already know that this is one I will want to smell all-year round if only to be transported to a warmer, wide-open place like your favorite coastline. Also I tried a decant of Mega Mare, the scent this is replicating, and -- to my nose -- they smell nearly identical. The Orto Parisi is a bit louder and sharper at the start are definitely stays that way throughout a longer duration of the fragrance. But for me, I'll never be tempted to need to the 'real thing'. If you love musk and ambroxan, this is the perfume for you. Lots of reviews say it’s masculine, and I do think it would smell very masculine on a man. It doesn’t lean feminine at all but it’s very unisex on a woman. That said, if you like your perfumes sweet and floral, this is not the choice you want to make. There’s a little citrus at the top, but it’s a musk and ambroxan bomb. If you really look for it, there’s a slight floral note with a hint - barely a hint - of sweetness, but it’s salty, fresh, and oceanic without any of the “fishy” or seaweed notes. Be warned: do NOT spray more than once if you’re going to be indoors and around other people. It’s absolutely as strong as everyone says it is. I watched some YouTube reviews and saw people put a scent strip right up to their nose and I have no idea how. I work in a hospital directly with patients and I will not be wearing this to work. With one spray, the longevity, projection, and sillage are the best I’ve ever experienced. My new favorite perfume. My only complaint is that it isn’t appropriate for work if you need to keep it light in your work setting. Read more

Lattafa Atlas is one of the more accurate niche-style clones to come out recently, and the comparison is very straightforward. This sits firmly in the Orto Parisi Megamare lane, and the resemblance is obvious almost immediately. The opening hits with that salty marine blast that makes Megamare so recognizable. You get sea notes, salt, and a bright citrus lift, which creates that “standing next to the ocean” effect right away. It’s bold, atmospheric, and definitely not your typical blue fragrance. As it develops, the DNA becomes even clearer. The mid brings in ambergris, airy florals, and marine depth, which give it that expansive aquatic feel Megamare is known for. It feels big and open rather than clean and shower-gel fresh. The drydown stays true to the concept. You get salty ambergris, mossy woods, and a slightly resinous marine base, which keeps it dark and oceanic rather than bright or playful. This is very much that “real ocean” vibe, not a tropical beach scent. In terms of similarity, most impressions land in the very close but not identical category. Roughly speaking: - DNA is clearly Megamare-inspired - Overall vibe is very similar - Differences show up in tone and refinement Where Atlas differs most is in character. Compared to Megamare: - Slightly cleaner and less murky - A bit more wearable overall - Sometimes comes off a touch sweeter or smoother - Less animalic depth than the original Some side-by-side takes describe Megamare as darker and more abyssal, while Atlas feels like a brighter, clearer ocean interpretation. Performance is where Atlas really earns its reputation. Just like Megamare, this is absolutely nuclear territory. It’s widely described as: - huge protection - long longevity - room-filling presence Many wearers report it lasting well into the next day or lingering heavily on clothes. This is not something you overspray. Stylistically, this is not mass appealing and definitely not blind-buy safe. It works best for: - hot weather outdoors - humid climates - niche fragrance fans - people who like bold aquatics - statement summer scents This is not a safe office freshie. It’s a presence fragrance. The biggest differences vs Megamare come down to refinement and nuance. Megamare still has: - deeper complexity - more natural niche blending - darker maritime character Atlas trades some of that depth for approachability while keeping the intensity. Overall, Lattafa Atlas succeeds because it captures the core Megamare experience shockingly well for the price. You still get that massive salty marine aura and nuclear performance. It may not fully replace the original for niche purists, but as a wearable, powerful take on that DNA, it absolutely delivers. Read more

This one hits with a strong aquatic vibe right away. The sea salt note is very noticeable and gives it that deep, ocean-air freshness that feels bold and powerful. It’s clean but not light or watery—there’s a strong, almost rugged marine character to it. Performance is solid and it definitely makes its presence known, so a few sprays go a long way. It feels perfect for warm weather, beach days, or anytime you want a fresh scent that’s intense and confident rather than soft or subtle. Read more

Very good at first it smelled very metallic and salty but after 10 minutes it’s start to turn into a fresh salty ocean scent. I wouldn’t say this is blind buy safe but if you like ocean scents with longevity and performance this is a beast!!! good value for your money. Read more
