I’ve been obsessed in learning more about this fragrance before I got it. I inquired how the scent was going to appear to me so I kept reading online reviews over this fragrance nonstop. And to my surprise, I got the fragrance a day before expected (YAY). So here’s what I got to share about this fragrance as someone who is a fragrance enthusiast: Fragrance Appearance: The bottle design is very beautiful. A+ for that, very unique. Love the gold and the syrup-drizzling design on the bottle. However, the “A” in “eclaire” came in a bit blurred off and a small bottom part of the fragrance came chipped off. How sad. This is a common occurrence for fragrance bottles that are covered in a sort of wrapping, but the chipping tends to occur after usage due to wear and tear (which comes with time). So the fact that it came like this out the womb made me want to drop a star, but I ended up not doing that because of its smell. Fragrance Smell (what we’re all wondering): The top note does appear to smell like a sharp vanilla and a soft banana laffy taffy smell combined together when sprayed on fabric. I can smell some nuttiness and a hint of chocolate too, which I enjoy. The power of the scent is quite strong. The more you spray, the stronger it becomes, so beware. When I sprayed it on myself, the banana note became more noticeable but did end up disappearing and melting into the nuttiness and vanilla part of the fragrance. The fragrance as a whole does not smell edible, but instead something sensually sweet and gorgeous to which is wearable and not overwhelming when sprayed according to your own tolerance of smelling strength. I’ve heard so many good things about Lattafa and have a couple of their fragrances that are my fav. And so far, as a person who bought this as a blind buy, I am SO THRILLED and SATISFIED with myself that I trusted my instinct in getting this fragrance. Thus, I definitely do recommend this fragrance if you are into gourmand (sweet) fragrances. My fragrance rating would be 4.9/5 (-0.1 due to the chipping of the bottle). I hope this was helpful, thank you for reading my TED talk lmao. Read more

This fragrance is a true gourmand dream — sweet, creamy, and very comforting. Right after opening, it already smells nice, but I strongly recommend letting it sit for 1–2 weeks before judging it. After almost two weeks of resting, the scent became much richer, smoother, and noticeably longer-lasting. The notes blended beautifully, the sweetness feels deeper and more refined, and the overall quality improved a lot. Performance also got better with time — it lasts longer on the skin and projects more evenly. The quality is excellent for the price, and it clearly benefits from maceration. If you love sweet gourmand fragrances, this one is absolutely worth it. Just be patient and let it rest — the result is amazing. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I recently started growing my perfume collection and got this after seeing the hype. It’s a decent cent. It smells a little bit artificial to me, but I still really enjoy it and when it dries down, it smells very nice. The bottle feels nice. I love the design. It lasts a really long time on my clothes. I can smell it all day personally. Read more

Smells like laffy taffy banana, which is very fun and nice. Compared to original Eclaire, less alcohol-y, despite having my bottle of Eclaire for over a year. Banoffi has a tropical vibe, almost a hint of creamy coconut underneath, while the original Eclaire deepens to a musky caramel vanilla. Banoffi is very different, much sweeter, almost pure sugar, like a Twinkie. The original Eclaire seems muted businesslike in comparison, which says something because the original Eclaire is one of the strongest caramel perfumes I own and hardly professional. The banana sadly does slowly fade leaving you with loud sugar and yellow cake. Great buy for the price! Only complaint is that the paint on the bottles do star chipping with use, but they look very cool. Read more

I was expecting a banana / biscoff / cookie smell but this is straight banana sunscreen or banana tropical vacation artificial banana for sure which I love the smell of but not in a perfume. It’s not bad at all but it’s very artificial and not what I expected for a desert style banana. Otherwise lasts very long and is strong! Read more

Smells sweet, has vanilla definitely something more for winter time but you can probably wear this all year round with light sprays. Does last a long time but may vary from body chemistry. Would recommend to anyone thinking of buying for their significant other. Read more

Authentic & smells wonderful! I love banana fragrances, this scent is not your usual “laffy taffy” profile. It’s more elevated, it’s creamy banana mixed with just the right amount of musk. Read more
