I bought this because I kept seeing it all over TikTok, and I am so glad I did! If you love sweet, creamy, and feminine scents, this is a must-have. To me, it smells like a mix of a strawberry milkshake and tropical vanilla. It’s very "fluffy" and soft, not heavy or cloying at all. ​The bottle is heavy and feels much more expensive than it actually is. Yall when I tell yall get this. Get this. It smells so good, it lasts very long(I mean like you can put it on today, the next day you'll still smell it on your old clothes). I get so many different compliments when I wear this perfume it's crazy, it's not too strong where it can stuff your nose but it smells very feminine, fruity like. Lattafa Yara smells beautiful sweet vanilla, fruity, and softly floral with a creamy gourmand vibe. The longevity is decent, around 5–6 hours, and the spray works well with a nice soft projection. It’s not too strong but definitely noticeable. My only drawbacks: the bottle is cute but I did notice a little leakage around the cap, and I’ve seen others mention the same thing. Update #2: Ok… don’t laugh… Well…okay… little…. I’m coming off a Covid high… Showered… Sprayed myself down with Yara and…… I smell of an Intense can of Play-doh! I loved that smell… So! I just hit the Buy button… Again!!!! 💕 Update#1: I’ve worn Yara 3 days in a row now. It’s becoming my go to for day and night. It’s just decadent. It can be worn year round. I put two sprays on at night before bedtime. I smell it throughout the night and I can still smell it when I wake up in the morning. My husband says I smell beautiful. He loves it! I keep trying to pick out all the scents in it. I’m down to: Very light floral, marshmallowy creamy pineapple, amber, vanilla and a slight powdery scent. Just Yummy without being juvenile. Of course all the positive reviews were there but I was like “Does it really smell that good?” It’s an Arabic perfume and my mind and nose started saying it’s going to smell like incense. So I read some more about it, cruised past it, came back to it and decided to buy it. I convinced myself if it smells bad, at least the bottle is pretty. 💁. So a couple days go by and it arrives. No leaks, well packaged and bottle looked just like the photo. So… how does it smell? Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! No incense! I smell, a juicy citrus, almost pineapple like, amber, vanilla, a little bit powdery, it’s absolutely decadent and beautiful! It’s not a juvenile gourmand fragrance. Get BBW out of your head. I really can’t describe all these different scents in it. One second my nose captures a beautiful pink flower and then it shifts to juicy tropical fruits, then it shifts to a light airy powdery scent. This perfume makes me feel beautiful! The sillage is pretty good. I put on two sprays and it lasted about 8 hours. Right out of the bottle it’s a bit in your face but give it about 10 minutes and the dry down is mesmerizing. This perfume is beautiful! I immediately ordered another bottle of the Yara and purchase two other scents while I was at it-Tous and Candy. Go ahead and hit the Buy Button. Creamy, fruity, feminine. This is quite honestly a show stopper and I’m so glad I got it! I saw it mentioned several times in a fragrance board I belong to and I knew I had to try it. I would classify this as a fruity gourmand, and for me a few sprays last all day without touchups. The scent is fairly strong but somehow still soft smelling, and I believe the projection is great because I do receive compliments whenever I wear this. Some people have mentioned that it smells like play-doh but I don’t get that at all. To me it’s a fruity, candy scent with a slight vanilla and creamy note. I think this is a lovely scent for all seasons, and the price is definitely reasonable. Words cannot describe how much i LOVE this fragrance. The bottle and packaging SO PRETTYY, and it smells powdery and just like a strawberry milkshake with a hint of vanilla! This is the type of fragrance that goes well with almost ANYTHING. I love to layer mine with vanilla lotion and body mist😋 and can we talk about its strength??
