Heavier than I thought it was (I didn’t read... this is real wood) Nice natural characteristics and finish. My only slight complaint was the hanger wasn’t perfectly center on the back board - again I think it’s just me and my OCD. easy fix. Lightning fast shipping! I am pleased with this laundry sign. It came in a fitted, cardboard box with a transparent foam-like paper but not as thick as bubble wrap. It is a painted sign so if you are expecting it to be three separate slats of wood with texture, there is not; it is flat and smooth. It seems to be made of birch as stated and not MDF, yay! I am happy that they painted the sides, top, and bottom white like the front. The back is not painted (see photos) but I'm fine with that. I believe it weighs approximately 3 pounds.
