I have very dark circles, so I'm always looking to try new concealers. Also, I'd never tried one with a brush before, which is why I ordered this one. I got my usual shade, medium, which was a bit on the yellow side for my skin tone. The tube is larger that the typical concealer, as is the doe-foot applicator. I don't think it would have worked well to have used the applicator in the tube, as the product is VERY thick! I wasn't sure I would like the brush, but I actually did; it made the product easier to apply. (Although as other reviewers have noted, there is a fairly sharp metal point encasing the bristles on one side. I actually filed this down a bit with a metal file.) I would say that the coverage is decent, although not as effective as a expected for my undereye circles given the thickness of the product. When I used the product for my black eye, it became more cake-y. Overall, this is a fairly average concealer with a nice brush that does a decent job. Read more

What am I reviewing? I am reviewing Laura Geller’s Undercover Kit. Why I selected? I selected this over others specifically because it’s a Laura Geller brand. How presented? The product arrived in a unique way, withing a sealed, branded, colorful, professional teat to open package that also had a press-to-reseal feature. I like the bag was sealed, as a sealed package gives me peace of mind that anything inside was clean and untampered with.] Describe the package The light-colored pink in color package (bag) had the Laura Geller brand name in shiny gold letters boldly displayed on the front of the bag. There was no other descriptive information on the exterior of the package. Giftable? Absolutely, it’s a great way to present the product. Size of the package (bag)? 8” xx 10” x 0.5” Weight of package? About (62) grans, which is about (2.2) ounces. What’s inside? Inside, as soon as I opened the package, were all items described in the listing, the precision brush and the concealer. The qualities of the concealer? I thought the concealer’s texture a bit thick, but creamy, rather than chalk like. The finish was long lasting; did not transfer, and if applied carefully, crease proof. It can cover blemishes with careful application and fine lines. This can double as a foundation; and whether real or imagined, I thought there was a slight tightness to my skin, creating a smother look. This works hiding those eye circles. Blends? Yes, I thought it blends well, the critical point is to pick the best color. Coverage I thought coverage was adequate. Lots of fuss to apply? Not really. Cleaning-off A good make-up remover pad worked. Precision brush thoughts? This is for precision use and does require a bit of practice when applying a concealer, such as this. I do clean the brush, which I think makes a positive difference. Value Based on the totality, I thought value was nearer to exceptional rather than just fair. Country of origin? From what I understand, this was made in Italy. Is this perfect? Hmm, based on the totality, I have no significant criticisms. Rating? I think it five (5) stars, when adding everything up. However, I am also basing this on being able to apply this correctly, as it provides blendable coverage with a creamy texture using the precision brush to create a flawless look others will be amazed to see.
