I got these for my daughter who is now 9 months pregnant. She didn’t her belly button piercing yo clothes and thought it would be a good idea to get these because of the length. I saw a lot of reviews complaining that the bar is initially too long and caused a lot of irritation because of its length. The product has a picture on the third or fourth slide that tells just exactly how to cut and fit to size. I’ll admit that I was complaining too at first but thinking it’s because I didn’t have a ring in for quite some time after having my belly grow. But once you cut it to your size, it fits quite comfortably and I honestly forgot I even had my belly ring in there! It’s a little tricky getting the ball to screw in the freshly cut bar but just be patient and use a firm grip. Also bending the bar back and forth for a while before putting it allows the plastic to not be so straight and much more flexible causing less irritation. Read more

Purchased 2 weeks ago. After a week I noticed the top getting irritated, and I thought it was because it was too long and getting caught too much. So then 3 days ago I cut one to make it fit better. Here I am at 3am writing it does not have to do with length and that the material is indeed very irritating. Do not buy these, and save yourself an infection!
