The style of this mock neck sweater vest gives off some major collegiate vibes. That’s the first thing that came to mind after it arrived. I couldn’t help but picture it being worn with a pair of thick glasses, a wool trousers or a pleated skirt, and loafers, then being worn by a student majoring in English lit. It’s a look that I very much love; needless to say, I was excited about it right away. I ordered this in a large; it fit true to size. This top has a mostly relaxed silhouette, draping loosely around the chest and back. It allows for easy movement while worn. The vest is waist length, with a banded, ribbed hem along the bottom. The round, banded neckline and the arm openings of the vest also include ribbing, while the rest of the sweater features a flat knit. This top gives the appearance of a blouse layered under a sweater vest, without the additional bulk that can result from actually pairing these two pieces together. Even though the sweater’s knit provides a good amount of warmth, it isn’t heavy. The fabric on the sleeves and the mock neck is lightweight with a slight texture. In contrast to the solid color of the sweater vest, it has sharp, royal blue pinstripes defined by white stripes on each side followed by thick, lighter blue stripes. The full, bishop sleeves are gathered at the top of both shoulders, their volume further adding to the relaxed look of this top. The fitted cuffs emphasize the variations in silhouette. The fabric on the sleeves and mock neck is more rigid, although still soft and airy, while the knit vest offers a comfortable amount of stretch. All in all, I am very happy with this top. Even though it is such a classic, traditional style, the extra design details like the puffy, voluminous sleeves and the soft ruffles that form around the mock neckline give it a lovely feminine feel, and set it apart from similar styles. I found no issues with the construction, and both fabrics used felt good. This exceeded my expectations, especially considering its price point. Overall, it’s an excellent value that I would definitely recommend. Read more

It’s cute. I wish the collar would stay up. It slides down. Also, it’s huge. I could have taken an xxs and I’m about a size 4. All that being said I am keeping it. It is easy for a quick outfit. Read more

This women’s knit sweater is really comfortable and warm. The material feels soft on the skin, and the fit is just right — not too tight or too loose. It’s easy to style with jeans or skirts and looks great for casual or slightly dressy occasions. Overall, great quality and very cozy — perfect for fall and winter! 🍂❄️ Read more

This sweater feels like a strange combination, a hybrid of a polyester short sleeve pullover, and a blouse, both sewn together, but neither of which quite hit the mark. The ruffle neck was found to be most uncomfortable and, as a modification, will require turning over and sewing so that it does not push up so high on the neckline, or even does not appear above the neck at all. It is noted that some photos in the description show it being worn without the ruffle around the neck. The design may work better for someone with a longer neck. The blue and beige work well together as a color combination, but of course with it all sewn together, there is no chance of changing the look. We decided it is better to buy a blouse and a pullover separately. Read more

The striped “shirt” reminds me of a girlie version of a men’s JCrew pinpoint cotton button-down. The fabric is smooth and substantial-though not fully cotton. The vest part of this too, is also of very nice quality sweater knit. It’s substantial enough to drape well and it’s not clingy. I’m 5’2” 170 lb and 34G and wearing size L. It’s appropriately loose at the waist and exactly the right length for my stature (which NEVER happens). Read more

The entire sleeve has a wide width all the way to the cuff. The sleeves are short although this top runs large. The fabric makes noise when you move. The sleeves would be difficult to iron. I find the collar to be uncomfortable and not look quite right. Read more

This sweater/shirt fits true to size. The sweater part and the sleeves are super soft, and it looks really sharp on. The sweater seems to be durable, but I did not put it in the dryer just in case. The material is high quality and the sleeves are a nice thick material. I like that it gives the look of wearing layers without the layers making you too hot. Read more

This took forever to come. Its ok. Cute with a pair of jeans but I think the delivery time turned me off. Material is ok also but seems to run a little small. If a shirt is needed quickly, this isn't it! Read more
