I have been searching for over a year for some plain, straight-sided Collins glasses. These were a lot more sturdy than I was expecting from some of the negative reviews. They are certainly not delicate. That said, however, with their thick base they would be top-heavy if put in the dishwasher, so we wash them by hand. And yes, they are narrow, so that is a bit of a pain. They are perfect for highballs and summer drinks like Pimm's Cups. If you are a glass collecting fanatic like I am, you will notice that this is not super high-end glassware (for example, the glass is a little flowy which distorts the look). I had some like these and preferred them over all the other glasses I had. I used them so much but over the years they broke one by one. I was happy to see these for a great price on Prime Day. They came in two days and are so nice! They are exactly like my old ones and I've used them every day since they arrived. Great for iced tea but cocktails look really pretty in them. These glasses are simple yet beautiful and stylish with a good base. They are comfortable to hold and easy to store in the cabinets with their slender design. Any beverage or cocktail looks classy in these glasses. I love them. However, as a good review I must mention the circumference was a bit smaller than I realized, even though I compared it to a similar glass I already have. Meaning, I have smaller hands and must use a bottle brush for the inside when washing by hand. I have washed them in the dishwasher many times since purchasing, and never had an issue of breaking, very durable, same as advertised. If you do not think you will have an issue with the hand washing situation, I would highly recommend these glasses. Otherwise, you might look into a similar style with a slightly larger circumference. Read more
