Synthetic Fabric gets really warm

When I purchased the hammock, i thought that it was cotton fabric. it is not. It is a polyester. The good, it dries really fast. The bad: it gets really hot and is not as comfortable to the touch as a cotton fabric hammock. The pillow could be a little bigger as well. But it is light and since it comes with the chains already connected, you didn't need to measure both sides to find the middle. I would recommend it. Read more

I researched several hammocks before finally deciding on this one. Boy am I glad I settled on this one! It really is nice. Sturdy, comfortable, I like the color selection. It doesn't come with tree straps, but I already had some Atlas brand ones. I highly recommend to them. And I also upgraded the "S" hooks that came with the hammock with sturdier carabiners that I also found on Amazon. They hold like 800 lb or something. My wife and I aren't the smallest people in the world but it holds both of us without giving the impression like it's going to come crashing to the ground. We have left it in the rain a couple times but it dries out quickly. I have started bringing it in every night now to keep it in good shape.
