I have a bunch of sleep masks. It's partially because I lose them and partially because I'm picky. It's so hard to find the perfect mask that blocks out the light but it is comfortable on the eyes, side of face and ears. This mask is definitely one of my favorites now and I've been wearing it nightly. It's so soft and most nights it's very comfortable. Some nights when my eyes are irritated I will opt for a different type of mask that doesn't touch my eyes and has eye cups but most nights I don't mind this mask because it's so soft against my skin. It just depends if I'm having irritation or not. I love the soft silk and how this completely blocks the light. It also is comfortable on my nose and has a little flap that blocks out light. The print is also so cute. The only irritating part is that the velcro gets stuck in my hair sometimes. I've been wearing it inside out because the part of the velcro that grabs is on the inside which is definitely a design flaw. With the nose flap on the outside it feels a bit weird but still works. Maybe that's how your supposed to wear it? It has an elastic loop that was on the outside when it arrived. I have no idea what it's for. The way I'm wearing it, that loop is on the inside and the rough part of the velcro on the outside. It feels backwards but I hate my hair getting caught so that's how I wear it but it's still comfortable and works. I just don't think the nose flap is supposed to be on the outside. Read more

I got this for my sister who is on hospice care. She suffers from frequent migraines and is a very light sleeper, so the mask is really helpful for blocking out the light in the mornings so that she can actually get some rest. She's easily impacted by the light, so to me, that she says it fully blocks out the light means a lot. She also doesn't like having things on her face, but it's comfortable enough for her to be willing to keep it on all night. Read more

The sleep mask is so soft and fluffy! The material is satiny and smooth. It has great coverage over your eyes, but it’s not suffocating at the same time. The elastic band gives good flexibility and adjustability, but is not too tight or loose. When you put this on you get pretty much total blackout, which is nice when you wanna get a nap in a bright room or an airplane or just during the day. The mask itself is well constructed. The seams and stitching are clean. I like the little pattern on it as well. Overall, a great item for a great price. Highly recommend! Read more

My other sleep masks are made of silk, with either a single or double adjustable elastic band to hold them in place. This is different. The outer cover certainly feels soft and silky, and the mask is thicker and a bit fluffier than I'm used to - but this actually feels nice without getting in the way. Instead of narrow elastic bands, this mask extends on either side of your head all the way to the back, where velcro strips hold the flaps together. I was concerned that without elastic this would fall out of place during the night but that wasn't a problem at all: the mask stayed comfortable an in place all night. It's also excellent at blocking light, and large enough so none leaks through around the edges. A difference between this and the others I have (and most on the market) is that with the wrap around design, your ears are at least partially covered too. This helps block noise - also good to promote sleep - and is noticeably warmer, which could be good or bad - that depends on your own preferences. All in all I like this mask. Along with the mask you get a storage bag and a pair of sound reducing ear plugs. I don't use ear plugs so I can't comment on their effectiveness, but I imagine it's a nice addition for those who crave total isolation for sleep. Read more
