This lighter really works. It looks cool and charges really quickly. It is so light weight and has a rubbery, no slip feeling to it. There is no stun gun like noise. Literally, this one doesn’t make a sound and it lights evenly and quickly. The value for the money on this is epic. No more fuel! Buy several, once you see how cool one is you will want more. It aid really great. It lights pretty well in the wind. It doesn't heat up and stays cool to the touch, just don't touch the arc. It seems pretty safe, but you need to make sure to keep it out of reach of kids because the latch is easy to open. It is really easy to use, just open it up and push the button. You can use it in the wind, I haven't tried to put it in water, so not sure if water proof. It feels a bit velvety and nice to the touch. Read more

I absolutely love this lighter! I live near the beach in a neighborhood full of high rise buildings which creates a wind tunnel effect. It makes using a regular lighter very difficult. This is a dream come true! Great battery life so I can recharge it instead of buying new or refilling it like the old ones. Light weight and great feel in my hand. I've had no issues with it I don't use it because it's in my bug out bag and hopefully I never actually have to use it but it works perfectly and is rechargeable and yes I tested it and it does start papers on fire very quickly Read more
