The thing that stands out most to me versus other heat guns like it is the fact that this one has 2 settings (low & high) rather than just one like the majority of the others. These things are amazing when it comes to using them for heat shrink on electrical components like i primarily do, but believe me once you have one you will find a million other users for it as well. I mostly bought this for the heat gun, and the heatgun works well and is just what I needed for using heatshrink. I also needed a backup soldering iron though, and I ended up going with this set over others because the soldering iron included extra tips (I prefer a slant tip.) The soldering iron is pretty flimsy but I was expecting that. Unfortunately, despite saying several places in the description, it did not come with extra tips. The company stated to reach out to them by email if there was any issue, and I emailed them about the issue two weeks ago asking if they could send the tips and they never responded.
