I bought this fragrance in an attempt to find one just like my leave-in conditioner. The perfume starts slightly sour and leaves you craving for something sweeter. I do not like how it starts, as I can't seem to get over that sourness half the time, which is why I don't tend to reach for it too often. After it sits on the skin for a while, all you can smell is coconut. I don't smell any vanilla in the perfume. And to even get a whiff of bergamot, I had to press my wrist to my nose and take a big, deep breath. The perfume smells like you just cut open a coconut, and that's it. It's not a bad smell and can be used for layering. I recommend a good warm vanilla with it. It's a strong scent, and if you spray it on your hair directly, you WILL smell it all day. After a couple hours, I notice, that the smell has died down slightly on my hair, and it smells like expensive, hydrating shampoo. Overall, it suits people with sensitive noses, as despite its strength, it doesn't seem to overpower my nose. The bottle is made of glass and looks good on my dressing table, and the cap has a metal overlay in a chrome finish. It looks sleek and modern. Overall, do I recommend it?
