I have these shorts for running. The fabric seems reasonable - similar to other running fabrics I have worn. I don't like that the shorts have a tie on the outside. I prefer an inner tie. I think the cut was a little strange. You may notice that almost all the pictures have the model with his hands in the pocket. I don't think that is by accident. These pants are very comfortable on a hot day. The material is thin and lightweight, very breezy. I love the color, too (Listed as Army green, but it's not OD, Olive Drab. It's a much more stylish color). Elastic is plenty tight and keeps your pants from dropping down. My doc once told me that if elastic waistbands are not snug enough, you can develop back issues. It's because you adjust your body ever so slightly to hold up your pants and your back doesn't like that! Pants are just the right length, too. They dry very quickly. They're advertised as exercise shorts but I wear them all the time. Who knows? I might break out into some exercise at any moment, and I'll be prepared! Read more

These shorts are made of a nice lightweight material perfect for exercising. They are a little shorter than expected, but this is fine. I also wear a 34" waist normally, and I got the large, which was a bit too small for my liking. Consider getting a size up from what you'd normally get. Read more
