Purchased this backpack for my 11 year old daughter last year. It is absolutely adorable. She used it for the entire year and it still looks new. Quality fabric, seams and zippers. Adorable print. So I saw this backpack because a hairstylist friend of mine uses it to carry her tools around on-set. I thought it was cute and decently priced. I ordered this for my teenage daughter who couldn't fit her plastic accordion-style organizer in her last backpack... which resulted in her leaving it everywhere (usually at home, causing me to have to run home to get it and take it back to the school!!!) It's got handy little side pockets so she can toss a bottle of water in them. The inside has pockets for organizing additional items such as notepads and erasers. It also has a laptop slot. In her words: "I like that it's waterproof. It rained the first day I used it and all my stuff was dry. I like that the front has a zippered pocket. I can put my MAC lipgloss inside the inner pockets so I don't lose them and you don't get mad at me for losing them anymore. It's spacious and better than my last backpack. I dunno mom..." Backpack arrived ahead of schedule, seems a little stiff. Hoping with time and use it will soften up. Going to use as my work bag/ purse. Love the design and color of my backpack. Going to see if my laptop will fit in it with a laptop sleeve on it. Seems roomy enough for the rest of my things that I normally carry in my purse. Seems sturdy and love that it is waterproof. Calling all teachers, if you want a single bag to haul your gear in and out of school, this bag is the balm! I didn't write a review right away in order to give the bag time to be used. I can say this bag is very well made. It has compartments for everything I need and more. It fits the shoulders comfortably with nicely padded, adjustable straps.
