A black leather backpack has been part of my uni for 20 years... as a student, career girl, mom, and back to career girl. This is the best backpack I've had. I've had it for months and it still looks new. The seams seem to be made of cast iron... no threads showing, though I pull it in all directions. Very generous with the pockets on the inside so everything has a place. I was concerned about the little cover flaps blocking access, but somehow, weirdly, they don't. They keep things from falling out but don't keep you from grabbing something (like a phone) and pulling it out. This backpack looks like a millions bucks... understated, elegant and not fussy. I've never used a backpack before, but thought I'd try, as I felt that the combination of my computer bag and my purse was wrecking my neck and hips. This one is wonderful. In addition to costing about 50% of similar backpacks, It's elegant enough to look great with my work clothes; capacious enough to fit all my stuff; and well-made, too, to put up with daily use, Best of all, it's great to have all my stuff be balanced on my back (and feels much lighter, somehow), and is making me stand up straighter, as well. I bought my bag second hand , however, if I’d known I would have loved it so much I’d even paid full price. I love the roomy soft leather, the straps are so comfortable and it really holds quite a bit. I have one in grey, a color not longer offered but am totally thrilled to how it. Read more
