These are great fake flowers. I have a different brand that I normally use that never disappoints. However, they didn’t have this particular flower available so I branched out and tried these. Wow! After some of the other reviews, I was hesitant to purchase these!!! I’m a “Cali” Girl, and one of my other Cali relatives (who also adores poppies!) just found out she has stage 4 cancer... I have always wanted some poppies to decorate my home, and wished to surprise her with a bunch. I purchased these to add to the mix! Beautiful pink blooms! To me, I don’t mind the stems at ALL!!! They are beautiful! Someone gave a great tip on washing them and shaping them. People are compelled to stop and touch them because the look real. I think they're a show stopper where I live because nobody knows a blue poppy exists (can't grow them in this climate). I gave it a 4 star because the stems are a little off. Poppy stems are skinny. These are too thick and a bit too light in color. I looked at other single stem flowers from this company and to me it looks like the stems are too similar giving the a little generic look. Maybe this is ok depending on the application of them. But my daughter has an excellent taste and an eye for detail and I wouldn't get away with it for her wedding. In the meantime, I'm enjoying these blue poppies. I hope this helps. PS I didn't buy these, someone bought them for me knowing how I wanted blue poppies. As with most faux flowers the petals come disfigured and squished. I used a hair dryer to reshape them, a few of them were beyond help but I like them and their look. However, I the icky yellow centers make the flower obviously faux, defeating the purpose of buying "high quantity" flowers. So, I glued dried black eye Susan centers (from my yard) over the plastic centers they come with. I'm happy with the results so I decided to keep them. High quality fake flowers shouldn't need to be modified to look realistic. Read more
