I don't know why I waited so long to get these lights. They're amazing. They were very easy to install and wire. They also come with a plug if you prefer to plug it in. The lights are also light enough that drywall screws are more than enough to hold them up. The lights are very bright but exactly what I wanted. They might seem too bright at first but you quickly get used to full brightness. You can also dim it if you prefer. Now I can see everywhere in my garage and it's helped for working on my cars. I also like the styling. It's a more modern and better looking than the fluorescent tube lights that used to be there. My friends always comment on the lights. I definitely recommend these. The lights are phenomenal, a massive upgrade from our previous lights. I liked them enough to buy another few sets to cover my whole garage ceiling for detailing our cars and an overall bright and enjoyable space to be in. You may note in my pictures that the corners of the garage seem dark, but in real life it isn’t really dark, that’s just my camera. Also, had I installed them in the shape seen in the provided pictures (X-shape), I would’ve had even better overall lighting, but I did it this way as I had planned to purchase more anyway given previous reviews I’d seen on them. Also, one of the great things about these lights is that you can design them however you want, in my pictures you can see that I went for a straight line rather than the 5 connected hexagons in an X shape. The only caution I’d give is to be smarter than me and realize how many pieces you have and how many will be required to complete the shape you want. As you can see in my picture I was 1 light short of completing the line of 5, my own fault. But, good news is that you can have unconnected ends and it won’t cause any issues with lighting, in case you make a mistake like I did or want to go for some other design with unconnected ends. Installation was easy and very quick, especially once you get the hang of it. Overall they’re everything I wanted/hoped for in buying these and so far (1-2 months) no issues whatsoever, even leaving them on 24/7 because I forget to turn them off every night. If for some reason you do have any questions, difficulties or issues whatsoever, the service email they provide in the box is extremely easy to work with and get any questions/issues resolved. My design was adjusted into two separate circuits and these folks replied to my email to send additional elbows connectors. I'll update this review as soon as they arrive. Install is a breeze and does not require two people, but two makes it go faster. Easy enough to take off and put back on to adjust design and layout, just takes patience requires being careful. I installed over two weeks to get my ideal design, which looks like organic molecules that made way for interruptions in ceiling area by garage door opener, etc. Results were absolutely beautiful despite me being skeptical of the blue florescent color lights I do not like. Temperature of these lights is perfectly neutral and feels like daylight, not too warm and definitely not too cold. Lights are dimmable and work with Kasa TP Link dimmers as long as you remain within the wattage specs. I had to split the design into two distinct circuits and switches for that. In the beginning, I made the mistake of going over 70 lights (19 hexagons) and the dimmer switch got warm, the 71st light install turned the entire light circuit off with the built in safety switch inside the lights. DO NOT BUY!!! THESE CHEAP CHINESE LED LIGHTS INTEREFERE WITH THE LIFTMASTER GARAGE DOOR OPENER!!! I spent over $1,000 in installation on my garage ceiling only to find out now that my garage will not close from my car once i exit!! I googled "LED Interference with garage door opener" and it's a real phenomenon with cheap LED lights. I am unable to turn on the lights since the garage door won't close from the outside any longer. If the lights are off, my garage will open from over 100 feet away, but with the lights on with the garage closed, they only open with a clicker if the clicker is literally touching the garage door. They fail to mention this in their ad that interference is automatic and your garage door will never open/close normally again. THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE BANNED ON AMAZON IMMEDIATELY, I HAVE LET THEM KNOW. I live in a multi million dollar home and had this installed by professional contractors, I also had a lift master technician come out to tell me the LED interference is the issue and there is no frequency change that can be performed on my garage door opener.
