If you're in need of light but don't have much space, BOY do I have the light for you. The grow light I was using for the top of my indoor greenhouse wasn't cutting it, so I figured I'd try an upgrade. WOW, this bay light is powerful. So much so that I have moved the light away from the greenhouse because it was overwhelming some of the plants. Not the light's fault - my fault for a quicker transition than needed. This has been working well for me so far with about 100 hours on the unit. I tried out the remote function, and it works well, but ended up uninstalling it after the remote was lost :( Works just fine via a switch. Its extremely bright, and suited for lighting up large areas. I have it in a lower ceiling area of my garage and this one light throws out a lot of light! Note of caution, I live in a hot climate, and even when this light is in a ~90 degree area, it gets veery hot. So, consider installing where it won't be touched by bare hands, and has decent air circulation. If I have any performance problems in winter weather, I'll come back and note that in my review. I love this light. It is extremely heavy duty. I love how it has the cable to securely hang it, making it very versatile and where you can put it. This thing is so bright.-incredibly bright that you actually don’t want to look right at it. It also gets pretty hot. So my only complaint is that there is no switch besides the remote. So even our best efforts to keep all of these remotes with all of their lights is not working well, and I’m not liking it. At least it doesn’t need the remote to solely work. But I would have liked to have had a switch on the actual product instead of just the outlet plug and the remote. Read more

We have a two-car garage with a customized high ceiling. I think the original owners before we bought the house, had intended to make two-level type of garage or maybe another floor apartment. So the lighting in the garage was always dim being that they are so high up in the ceiling but weren't made for that PAR (distance to the ground). When I saw this light, I was like, wow, that much lumen? Really 22,500 lumens! Hmmm let's see. Could this be the answer to our extremely high garage ceilings? Can I hang it from there? So I wanted to give it a try. And it did not disappoint. I had an old garage door outlet plug on the ceiling that I used for power source. Luckily that was already there, un-used but centered in the garage focal point of the ceilings. The light really flooded every corner of the garage from north, east, south, and west walls. I think I will definitely be able to use my garage more now as a workshop for woodworking, whereas before I had to keep those tripod lights, which were adequate, but always in the way for the cars. I don't even have to consider installing any wall lights at this point, like I thought I would have to previous to this high bay light. Maybe it is a good idea to buy a second one of these and offset them per half of the garage ceiling. Or would that be overkill? Still considering it.... Read more

Great little portable shop light. This thing is well made and super bright and I love that I can really hang it just about anywhere. Works GREAT and has an excellent build quality. It feels just a tad expensive, but I'm honestly not sure how much these types of things usually go for. Perhaps, for the price point, it's an excellent value and I'm severely misinformed but your mileage may vary there. Read more
