This is a very bright LED UFO style high bay light. Pretty similar to others of this style. These come with mounting hook and a safety tether which is nice. 3 prong cord end is pre-attached as well. Note this 100W LED pulls approx. 100W of power. It is not equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, it is a replacement in terms of light output for about a 400W HID commercial bulb like HPS (High Pressure Sodium) or MH (Metal Halide). These are lights typically used in large warehouses, gymnasiums, etc in the pre-LED days. So this fixture is going to put out a lot of light. Also note, high bay generally means mounted 16ft or higher so they will have a narrow beam area if mounted in a garage or similar. But even if mounted low, the reflected light will probably still be plenty enough to brighten any space. Read more

This is a nice little LED UFO light. It's a compact little one compared to the larger ones I have but it is sturdily made with a solid metal frame with plenty of heat radiating vanes. It is securely hung with a metal chain, plus it has a backup wire in case it falls. The light weight of this small unit means the stiff power cord kind of tilts it a bit if you let the cord hang loose, so it would be best to secure the power cord to keep the light straight as possible. The power cord is ok in length, but I do need an extension cord to reach my intended placement location, and that's near the floor, not on a ceiling. The beam range is relatively wide, and it's roughly 1.5 times the spread as the height of the light (ex. 2ft up, 3 ft diameter of light). At roof heigh of around 10 ft, it would have a good range of 15 feet diameter. There would still be light bouncing and spreading way beyond 15ft, but that area would be have the main focus of the light. The light is bright for its size, but at 10 ft up, it would just be moderately bright, like a regular ceiling light. You would need several of these spaced about 15 ft apart to get a good coverage of a room. Apart from the brightness, the light color is a cool daylight white, so I've been using it as a grow light and the plants seem to love it. Overall, this is a good multifunctional LED light, but consider its size and limitations when planning on where to use it. Read more

I have ordered several of what looked to be the same light. There are so many different vendors and as many or more of different items. I would say this light does seem to be the 100 watt size advertised, it's pretty bright. It is a little different temperature value so it will not seem as bright to some people (Me), It is minor but doesn't spread out as evenly. The only thing I didn't like about the light was the heatsink / frame was much lighter then the other models even though the LED's are suppose to last for a couple billion years. But if the circuitry overheats it can burnout other components. Not having enough cooling is the big enemy. The 100w LED light does the job as advertised and is reasonably priced. If there are any future issues at all I will update my review. I hope my review is helpful without being too long Read more
For $24, this is a decent and bright light. I’ve ordered about 10 or 15 different high bay lights over the past year to lifecycle 8ft tube fixtures. I started buying LEDs in the $75-$100 range, but I’m finding that these cheaper ones are working just fine. The cheaper ones seem to run hotter because the heat sink is not as well-made. This one is very VERY bright. But the small size means there is a lot of heat concentration. It gets about 175 degrees F on the top side, which is not that unusual for a 100W lamp, but the more expensive lights have better heat dissipation. For $24, I can live with the excess heat (since it hangs in the open air). I measured the power draw and it is showing closer to 75 watts on my meter, but the meter could be off a bit. Easy to hang and install. Just plug it in. I needed to convert my old ceiling boxes into receptacles, but that was easy, too. Made in China Read more
Coshall threw in a foot of chain to hang this one. There's even a quick-link with chain. Ain't that nice of them? Oh... Electrician here. You will see my reviews for a LOT of lighting products. UFOs are my favorite. I've been around a while and have replaced a gazillion giant metal-halide fixtures with tiny UFOs. More light. Less weight. A mere fraction of the electrical cost. UFOs are a win-win and are definitely here to stay. There are so many different options from which to choose these days; Watt equivalents, Lumens outputs, Color temperatures, and, of course, price points. I have UFOs from every spectrum and I can honestly say that I have yet to come across a bad one, even a bad driver or a short that got by QC (quality control). All of them, from the 50w eq, up to the 400w eq are just awesome. One gets what one pays for. These 100w eq are 10,000 lumens and more than enough light for the average Joe. The price? I have a couple of larger, brighter high bay lights that illuminate the main part of my studio. I decided to try this smaller one to hang over my work bench, replacing the old 4 foot fluorescent fixture. This light isn't as bright as the larger ones, but it works perfectly in my space. It gives me bright even light for my small, detail work. As some reviewers have noted, the smaller size of this fixture makes the heat sink less efficient than the larger lights. But as long as you are mindful of hanging it properly, that's no problem. I don't think this light is large enough to get great illumination if hung very high in a space. However, it's perfect to hang lower and light up a more compact area. Great buy for this price. Read more
