There's nothing "wrong" with these bulbs, but the light quality seems a tiny notch lower than other "high CRI" LED bulbs I have tried (labeled "90 CRI"). Most ordinary people probably would be completely unable to tell the difference, so what I'm referring to is really subtle and splitting hairs. I can verify the light from this bulb seems like it is 89 or 90 CRI. Somehow it seems like it might be just a little bit less "bright" than other brands that say "800 lumens", but I could be mistaken about that. The light is fine, but the color tint and light appearance and "feel" isn't quite as wonderful as other "high CRI" bulbs I've seen. (Though I wouldn't say it's "a lot" worse) I could also be completely wrong about this, but the light may have just the tiniest level of flicker on the very edge of human perception. Though you'd have to be super sensitive to even be capable of perceiving it. (Not anywhere near obvious or noticeable, like some other LEDs) But don't let that dissuade you from buying this unless you are extremely super sensitive. It's still better than a "normal" LED bulb. These 90 Color Rendition Index (CRI) 3000K bulbs eliminated the yellow tinge we were seeing on our bathroom walls. There lack of dimming capability is not an issue where we are using them, but that's the reason for four stars instead of five. Read more

What attracted me to this bulb? 3500K and 90 CRI This bulb is unique in this color temperature range. I loved the step up to 3000k when LEDs first appeared on the marked compared to about 2700k for incandescent but, but I needed a cooler color, yet 4000K is too blue. 3500K is the sweet spot. I don't think you'll find any other 3500k bulbs on Amazon; it's a great niche. As for color rendition whites colors are white, unlike many other LEDS. Another great feature is instant-on. I bought these because of the stated higher lifetime hours. They are very bright led light bulbs. I agree, these dont buzz or have flicker. Light weight too. I like the variety of color temperatures to choose from. My picture is of a 3500K. I plan to buy more for my parents home, once their other crappy LEDs die. Read more
