I purchased for my 13 yo son for second Halloween costume and he loved it. The design is pretty simple and he loves changing the mask. He hasn’t had much use since Halloween but that is to be expected. I am happy with the purchase. The colors were vibrant and it didn’t take my son any time to figure how to use it. The battery life seems ok since it still is usable although he only used it for two nights (?Halloween and a school function) Read more

This is a great mask. There are a lot of different LED faces available. My favorite is ghost face from Scream. It has an adjustable velcro strap that could be a little longer but fits my large head alright. I can't, however, wear it with my glasses. For one, the strap isn't long enough to accommodate it. Secondly, there's a foam insert around the eyes that takes up the space where your glasses would otherwise sit inside the mask. You can see this in the pic. It absolutely makes the mask more comfortable but it forces me to wear contacts if I want to put on the mask. Usage is straightforward. I haven't played around with the gestures yet but you can cycle through the different mask options by pressing the power button so it's easy to use. The plastic casing is solid so I think it's sturdy but I can't be sure that dropping it won't impact the LED functionality. For the price, it's well worth the money for such a unique Halloween option. Read more

I got this for my kids to use for Halloween because they like to have fun masks instead of elaborate costumes. The number of different pattern options great for both my kids (boy and girl) and the mask actually fits really well. The eye piece hugs the face so the mask doesn’t slide off. The leds are bright and the mask is a good size. Read more
Kid loved it. Does exactly what it says it does and holds a charge. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is a neat mask that works better than I thought it would. Of course, it will be best in dim light and with some kind of hood/hoodie that surrounds the mask, but it was bright enough to work well during the day. I've included some pictures and a video to show some different things. The mask is firm and flat with a slight curve to each side and the interior has a firm but soft enough cushion that is position around the eyes so the mask is kept off of your nose. I didn't have any problem breathing in the mask and it was comfortable enough for the short time I tested it first, but visibility is a bit of an issue. Even when I adjusted it to line up with my eyes as best I could, I had to tilt my head up and down to see those areas as the view is through relatively thin horizontal slits across each eye. I did not get a mask that had a PVC plate as someone else apparently did. So if you're going to wear it while walking, keep looking down if you're not going to be on a smooth surface, as you won't see anything near your feet if you aren't tilting the mask down that way. The use of the mask is easy enough. In the video you can see that you have to move your hand just a bit slow across the sensor, which is about nostril level, to change the display. You can also click the power button to do it, but it can be a bit hard to find in the dark as it's not protruding at all from the mask. Having a slightly raised circle on it would have helped. The display itself is bright. I tested it in a bedroom and the mask would illuminate the room a bit. Enough that I could tell what colors were flashing around. There was no bleed through glow shining directly in my eyes, either. I just saw the light on the walls. There is a good number of animations and still displays and you can turn the sensor off so an accidental movement doesn't change it. Instructions are only on the back of the box and while it did come with a USB-C plug, it didn't say anything about how to tell if the unit is fully charged. So I plugged it in and saw one purple line and three blinking green lines all surrounded by a white LED box. After a bit, it was two blinking green lines and two purple lines. Finally, the last green blinking line turned purple and I figured that meant it was done charging. I haven't had 10 hours to see if it lasts that long and won't until Halloween. I've included a picture with the mask next to a standard pen so you can compare the actual sizes. It looked smaller in my hands, but it fit my face well. A bigger person will definitely need a hoodie to not look a bit goofy in it, depending on your individual tastes. I also haven't tried it outside, but aside from rain, I don't see an issue. It's strong enough from how it feels and the adjustable band that holds it in place with Velcro isn't flimsy. I've only given it four stars because of some claims I haven't been able to test personally yet. Read more
