This mask is insanely cool! Both kids and fun adults will love it. The face of the mask is a black, hard plastic material that feels sturdy enough, but I wouldn’t want to, say, step on it for fear of breaking it. A very thick rim of foam outlines the eye area so that the mask is really quite comfortable to wear, not pressing against my face elsewhere. I guess longer nose tips might risk colliding with the mask. Horizontal slits in the eye area allow for pretty good vision thru the front of this mask, while the foam keeps the mask far enough off the face that some peripheral vision remains intact as well. A comfortable, high-quality, elastic strap holds the mask secure to the head, and a very strong Velcro closure allows for fit adjustment. The Velcro tab is only a short section of material, so it’s easy to get aligned perfectly so that it doesn’t risk pulling my hair. This mask includes a short charge cable with a USB-C end that plugs into the mask, while the USB-A end plugs into a power source to charge it. No wall outlet adapter is included. The mask arrived already slightly charged so that I could enjoy its large selection of bright, crazy-fun displays immediately. Whenever the mask is powered on via a long press of the button inside the mask, right by the chin, the LEDs briefly display the battery charge status. Afterward, you can click the button, which provides a satisfying feedback click, to cycle thru the many colorful displays. About half of the displays are stationary, and the other half of them move. Some of them even move rapidly enough that anyone sensitive to strobe effects might use this with necessary caution. Besides changing the display using the button, a sensor on the front of the mask can be activated by blocking it for 3 seconds. Afterward, the word ‘OK’ will briefly appear. From there, slowing waving you hand past the sensor will change the display, but I find whether it works or not to be fairly inconsistent, whereas the button works every time. You turn off the gesture recognition by blocking the sensor for 3 more seconds, at which point a red ‘X’ is displayed briefly. Overall, I adore this mask even though the gesturing function is spotty. I wasn't sure what I would receive when I ordered this item. I have seen similar ones across the internet that promised "x,y,z" and didn't deliver. However, I absolutely cannot say that about this mask! It came half-charged so I was able to test it out before having to fully charge it. I lost count at how many different designs there are but I definitely counted over twenty. Everything from actual emoji faces to more of a rave-scene environment. The opening for the eyes are great, as they cannot be seen from the opposite side; there are cushions for your eyes so they are not laying on the face of the mask - Let me say here that this is a strap-on mask and not an "over-the-head" mask - which I prefer because I can unstrap/remove it as needed; it doesn't weigh heavy and is comfortable to wear. This would be an amazing addition to any party or just playing around. The lights are brightly colored, vivid, stays charged for longer than expected, and easy to change facial designs (there's a small sensor on the mask, by the mouth, that you can wave your hand over and it will change faces; or you can lock in a design by pressing the on/off button for a few seconds - as per the directions) This deserves a 5/5 stars - the combination of faces/designs, the vivid, bright colors, and the ability to remove the mask as needed without having to pull it over your head (those get hot, quickly). I like all the different colors and designs this mask has but I don't like that you can't use an app with it. It is comfortable to wear for hours at a time and the battery lasts for a long time too. Charging it up took a few hours but once it was charged it easily worked for about 6 hours before needing another charge. The sensor function worked okay and the button to change the screen works as expected. Read more

Cool idea, weak execution. The mask lights up, sure, and the gesture control kinda-sorta works if you wave your hand like a wizard casting spells. But the build feels cheap — plastic that creaks in your hand and LEDs that barely light up evenly. It's a fun party gag or Halloween add-on, but don’t expect this to wow anyone or last more than a few uses. Kids might enjoy it for dress-up, but adults? Meh. Read more

The LEDs are BRIGHT on this puppy! So many options to choose from right out the box too. Just cycle through them with a click of the button. At full charge, the battery lasts quite a while! This should be good for an evening on the town. The mask itself isn't your traditional full face though, more of a slip for the front of your face. Plus, there's pads for your eyes for added comfort which makes it feel sturdier. It's a fun mask overall! Works well so far, and I hope it lasts. I'll to this review with any updates though!
