This is a nice night light. The dusk to dawn sensor works as it should. It gives off just enough light to let you see in the bathroom in the middle of the night without blinding you and waking you up. It is not see through. It is more of a picture on the back of a plastic square but to me it still looks pretty and goes well in my bathroom décor. I have included a picture but it was hard to get a good picture. I was looking forward to the arrival of this night light. I thought it would be especially nice for guests during the holidays to guide them to the guest bathroom. The sensor light works well. Even with the bathroom door open, the windowless room does stimulate the nightlight to light up and stay lit, even during the daytime. So, with that I am pleased. The picture in the product description shows a three-dimensional resin representation of some golden flowers. The actual nightlight is a flat screen picture behind some blurred glass. The picture does not light up. It is surrounded by a rectangle of cold white light, which I don't care for., while the picture remains dark. I had imagined a golden, glowing, three-dimensional, decorative and useful object for a guest bathroom. As it is, I will use it until I find something nicer. I was disappointed, and I felt misled by the three-dimensional, sculpted design in the picture in the product description. Read more

This nightlight is great for it's look. The Phoenix Design is really cool. But, it is not going to light up a room at night for you. It is quite dim. I actually prefer that, as I don't want to kill my night vision, or get forced more awake, just to go to the restroom at night. Read more
