My 2 cents—December 21, 2025
The INXDOLHOM “sleeping bag night light” arrived in a branded box with the specs listed on the back. The rechargeable light, a USB-C / USB-A cord (it’s a little less than 20” long), a small user manual, and a 3M magnet/adhesive were included. I peeled the blue protective cover off the 3M magnet/adhesive, and that side magnetically stuck to the back of the night light. Peeling off the 3M logo side revealed adhesive, so if you choose to use that (we aren’t) you’ll need to pick your location carefully. The light arrived almost fully charged. The indicator light was a solid red when I tested the charging cord (it worked well), but it only took 15 - 30 minutes until the light turned a solid green. The light is a hard plastic, appears durable, and the cute design looks exactly as listed. The light sits flat when its back is on a flat surface, but it wobbles easily when sat upright. The light is simple to operate because the only options for the toggle switch are On / Off / Auto. The user manual explains them pretty well, and they worked, but it does take hard taps (or tapping/dropping the light, with a bit of force, onto a surface) to use the Auto mode’s functions (On/Three brightness levels/Off), and there’s only a slight difference to the three brightness levels. The light is a warm, yellow light, and the night light was never warm to the touch. My light lasted 24 hours when used on the lowest Auto setting the entire time (except when I played with the settings for a bit at the beginning), but the illumination was very weak for the last 5 or so hours (it glowed but the light wasn’t enough to illuminate anything). There’s no timer, so if the light is kept on all night (assuming 8 - 10 hours) it should last two nights. It took 1 3/4 hours to fully charge from zero. The light will work (yellow light) when charging if the switch is toggled to “On”, but it glows red if the switch is “Off” or on “Auto” until charging is complete. I would only recommend this cute night light if you are okay with it needing hard taps or drops in “Auto” mode, and if you don’t plan on running it all night, every night (unless you’re okay with charging it every two days). This is a cute light. It's magnetic and comes with an adhesive metal plate so you can stick it places that aren't metal. You tap the front of the light to turn it on/off or cycle through the brightness settings. I got this to put near my dog's bowls so I think I would have been better off with a motion light. If I turn the light on and forget to turn it off before bed, it will be dead by morning. Read more
Customer Review—December 17, 2025
It pains me to give this just a three star review, as aesthetically it arrived looking as expected. It's really cute and the design and colors are exactly what I was imagining. The quality is good in my opinion; it's plastic but the kind of solidly made plastic that I expected and I think it will be durable and hold up to regular use. As far as function goes though, this little guy is kind of a hot mess. There's the "always on" setting, off, or touch to turn on setting. So I wasn't expecting a timer since that wasn't mentioned on the listing, but it sure seems like that would be a sensible feature for any lamp that is marketed for use in a nursery. Who wants to tip toe back into baby's room after the kid is finally asleep to turn off the night light? This in itself wouldn't be enough for me to lower my rating since I wasn't promised a timer, but it does lead me into my overreaching problem with this light. Speaking of turning it off (or changing between the three light settings), this does not work with a simple soft touch as other similar night lights I've had do. You have to at least tap it, and I found it's really more of a little slap that it requires to toggle between the light levels and on/off. And sometimes the little slap doesn't even work. So, even though I didn't even order this for a kid's room, the annoyance of not being able to turn it on and off easily by touching it gently makes it difficult for me to recommend overall. If you just want the kawaii cuteness of the light and are fine with turning it on and off manually, it might still make a fun addition to your household. A couple more pros to end on a positive note: It's easy to charge with the included USB C cord and I love that this doesn't use disposable batteries. One of the nicest features of this for me is the built-in magnetic properties of the light. It comes with a double-sided adhesive magnet which you can install anywhere. The magnet sticks really well (for this reason I wouldn't put it anywhere you don't wan't to damage the wall FYI) and then you can just pop the light on and off the magnet if you want to charge it or move it. This nightlight has a cute animal design that is pleasing to look at. The nightlight has three light levels (high, med, low); with the light on high it illuminates my child’s room adequately that it’s not super bright like a regular room light would be. The light it gives out I think is a warm type of glow that is easy on the eyes but not jarring on the eyes. The part that I felt made me not like it as much was that I didn’t think the touch sensor is set too low that I find that I have to almost slap the light to get it to turn on or change to the next light intensity. All in all I like this nightlight for its cute design and its convenience that I can place this light where there isn’t a nearby outlet but yet still have the ability to turn on a light to see that won’t disturb my child while he is sleeping.
