Cheap but fun mask! El wire makes a very high pitch noise when in use.
The media could not be loaded. Overall: this is a fun mask for all ages. It's not high quality it's basically a cheap thin plastic with a quickly done paint job on front of it with el wire stitch through it. I'm not trying to put it down, just trying to set expectations. This will likely crack after if you uses, or otherwise it will not withstand the test of time as it's not designed to be rigorous. All that said my son intends to use this for some of his upcoming Halloween parties, to also help augment some of the other el wire pieces that he has with his costume. In the dark where the el wire works the best, this is actually very cool to look at! Overall I would say the value is questionable. It's a mask that you're likely to wear very infrequently given the scary nature of it, and you can tell that it was a bit of a rush job with the mask and the painting. Ultimately when it's dark and you're wearing this you can't really see the paint job anyways so the mixed effort there is confusing. If you're looking for a fun little mask and willing to pay the price then I would say that this would likely fit that bill. The biggest con about this is that I am sensitive to high-pitched noises and the el wire puts out a very high pitched noise when in use. Note on modes: the el wire controller has three lighting modes. One is solidly on the others are various flashes. The red and blue stitching is pretty fun and it does look really nice in the dark.
