Great starter smart ring
The media could not be loaded. I've been using this smart ring for a few weeks now and I'm pretty happy with it. This is my 1st smart ring so it took me a while to get used to having a ring on my 1st finger, but now I hardly even notice it. The finish on it LOOKS like a good quality, but it's just plastic and I can see it getting a nasty gouge if you aren't careful with how you grab things. It was also kinda of a bummer when I realized I couldn't wear this ring while working out. I use a lot of free weights and do various barbell workouts so I already know the finish wouldn't survive a single workout. The scratches I have on it are mainly from opening doors without being mindful of how I'm grabbing the door knobs. As far as it being plastic, I'm assuming that's standard for smart rings? My wife has a more expensive type of smart ring that is basically made out of the same material and has the same issue with fine scratches. That's not why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. The app is fairly inconsistent. It does track your current days info, but it's sporadic when it comes to letting you compare it to previous days. Sometimes it lets you see previous days measurements, but I'd say 98% of the time it just loads blank pages if you try to go further back than your current day. It's very frustrating when the entire reason for wearing a smart ring like this is to track and compare your daily health info. It also doesn't switch out of 24 hour format even though I have it selected for 12 hour format in the settings. The ring itself is very good for the price point it's offered at. Or at least I think it's worth it. It charges very fast and I'm getting a few days over a week of use before I need to charge it. I could probably stretch it to a full 2 weeks, but I adjusted the intervals that it measures my health data so that it measures more frequently, which in turn eats up battery life quicker. I do really like that the case it comes in also doubles as a portable charger without having to be plugged into a wall so you can charge your ring on the go if needed. My wife's more expensive ring doesn't even have that. Overall I feel that this is a great starter ring to see if a smart ring is the right fit for you. Speaking of fit, the ring size is accurate. It fits perfectly based on the size I chose according to a ring sizing tool. They don't seem to come in half sizes, so I recommend getting the next half size up. For example I needed a 10.5 but got an 11 and it fits perfect. Read more
