This little night light is really cute. It charges by USB, which is included. I plugged it in and it took a little less than 2 hours or so for it to fully charge. It has three settings and I was surprised how bright it was on the highest setting. On the lowest it emits a nice low soft glow. The light works by touch tapping lightly on the body of the night light. It does not come with a remote control. The umbrella handle makes it simple and easy to hang it up just about anywhere. I needed a small light in a bathroom, and hung this up on a chrome shelf near the entrance of the door. Wow is this little light is bright!! You can change it from flashing on and off to a solid. I will update this comment about the battery life after 1 nights use. It is rechargeable too which I love! We go through alot of expensive batteries for other toys so the ease of recharging is amazing… It looks so adorable as a children’s night light and is comforting for my daughter when she’s in her crib. We chose to sit ours on the top of the crib frame. You can hang it in the corner or place it down on the dresser or end table. She also loves the little character on the umbrella! Very cute cat in umbrella night light. Simple to use, just hold the switch to turn it on and off. The light is made of hard plastic and feels quite durable, and can be hung by the hook on door handles, or anywhere you like. Charges via Type-C on the bottom (or top depending how you want to look at it) and lasts quite a long while, but that's mainly because it doesn't provide a lot of light. In the dark you might be able to see the it but not too much else around it on the lowest setting.
