I am new to Amazon shopping… I have always hated shopping in person, even when I was younger and obviously after covid. I am short… almost 5” 3/4. I’ve always been very athletic and muscular. Through the years I have gained weight and now, once petite and muscular, I am a very thick and muscular woman! Recently for work, I have been ordering jeans after jeans after jeans and returning them all; trying to find some that looked good on me. I have a very short torso and I don’t feel comfortable with my shirts tucked in. I am very short with slim, muscular legs; that alone makes is very difficult to shop. These jeans were perfect! They have a very nice elastic type band in the waist. I love the material proportions and they are definitely jeans and not jeggings!! I ordered a size too big in the beginning(14 short), they do run true to size, but I took Amazon’s advice. I returned them and got a size 12 short and fell in love!!! All the jeans that I was going to settle for and the ones that I was currently returning, I traded them all in for 4 different colors of these!
