When I tell you these are the best pants EVER- I mean it! I have these pants in black, green, dark pink, and light pink. I were them absolutely everywhere because they are both comfortable and functional. If I could buy more I would. These are really the only pants I want and need, so I really hope Lee hasn’t discontinued them. They can be dressed up or down- I wear them to work, around town, while doing errands, etc. I’m 5ft 3in and wear a size 14. I’m short waisted with large hips and these pants are the perfect length and help compliment my body well. I’ve been tending to prefer a straight leg, and these feel pretty structured but have the right amount of give. They have more elasticity than your average female work pant, so that’s why they’re my preferred choice for the office. The high waist holds everything in and makes me feel secure. The third seam that other reviewers think is pointless, I think are one of the best elements of these pants. Additionally, I love the large and ample pocket room along with the cute button detail. For someone with big hips and thighs, the 3rd seam, buttons, and large pocket are slenderizing and provides something to look at aside from the outline of my hips. I would say that these pants are pretty thick. I’ve worn them in both summer and winter, and seem to be okay no matter the season. I wouldn’t say they’re very breathable, but I have worn them plenty of times on walks in the summer. I will say that for the amount of times I’ve worn and washed these, I think there is some shrinkage. I would be mindful of that when thinking through sizing, and when washing. Read more
These capris have the Lee cut, quality and fit that I enjoy. High raise waist, four real pockets (2 in the front - deep enough to held a phone - and 2 in the back) and a stretchy waist band as well. The salmon color is in between pastel and bright hues, making it easy to pair the pants with light or dark tops. The cut allows diversity of styles. Wear it with a hoodie and sneakers for a casual outing, or with a blouse and escarpins for a professional meeting. I took advantage of a sale and got the pants (in salmon) for $18!!! That's a great deal for the a Lee well renown high quality product. Can't beat that! The fabric is thick enough to be strong and durable, but also light enough to be worn in spring, summer and fall. True to size. I'm 5'7 and 145 lbs and I got the size 8 (size 10 was too large) I probably could go with a size 6 for a tighter fit, but I like my comfort. Highly recommend! Read more
the color of these trousers is really unique and the main reason i ordered, despite not being convinced about the third seam running down the middle of the legs. for starters an extra seam is weird and unnecessary for such casual clothing - i have sensory problems and fabric texture, extra seams, tags, threading, etc. on clothing can affect me to such a level that i can't function. i'm 5'9" and purchased a size 6 - no issues with the fit, other than needing to wear a belt. as expected, i don't like the third seam and found it inhibiting, but i can mostly move normally and am not overwhelmed by the additional contact points. i own a few pairs of lee jeans and something about their clothing has the fit on my left leg never feeling as comfortable as my right leg, and this feeling continued with the chinos. also plan to remove the large lee label from the back pocket before wearing - plastered labels and logos aren't luxe. I love almost everything about these. The fabric seems good quality and is sturdy, but it wrinkles so quickly! I got Ecru (great for summer) in size 12, my normal size. They fit perfectly. The fit is not snug, but not especially loose either. I am 5'7" and they are longer than capris but well above the ankle. I like the length. Love the details like the seam stitching on the legs and the button pockets in front. I just wish I could get through a day of wearing these without looking like a wrinkled mess after a few hours. I guess I was taken in by how cute they are and didn't stop to notice that they are 98% cotton. Live and learn I guess. Read more
I liked these pants so much that I immediately order a second pair. Thé fit is perfect. I am 5 2 and the length on me is more of a cropped fit than Capri. That is really what I was searching for and these worked out extremely well. Keep that into account though if you are short and looking for true Capri pants. These pants are high waisted with elastic waist that doesn’t roll down if you have a belly. The fabric is a medium weight cotton. Legs are more tapered and are not wide at the leg bottoms. I really like these crops. I got them in pink and immediately took off the patch on the backside. They are very cute. I am a solid size 10, I got a size 10 and they fit well. I like that they are not a skinny leg, but still quite slim. They are a good length to be a true crop, not a capri. I have washed them a few times and they are holding up. A nice pant all around. I kept this simply because the high waist style is high enough for my shape. The waist upper hip fitted but the lower hip was very baggy. The legs were extremely baggy. I kept it because the waist was high enough for me as it is usually it is too low. I made adjustments to improve the fit but the fabric stretched on wear to become even more baggy.
