I so wanted these pants to be exactly as pictured but regrettably there were a not. The waist was cut tight and too small (I ordered a large) and struggled to pull them on. Once on the pant below the waist was tight above the buttocks and in front, overall uncomfortable. It ran from a small to leg large. Not a good cut. In no way did the material fall as pictured.
