I got this musical set or my toddler and we absolutely love it! All the instruments are made of wood and the neutral colors are gorgeous, such a nice change from the super bright, flashy toys out there. Everything feels really sturdy and safe, which is important since it’s getting a lot of use! My little one has so much fun banging on the xylophone and shaking the little instruments. It’s been such a fun way to introduce music and rhythm without being overly loud or annoying. I also love that it’s Montessori-style and encourages hands-on play. The kids are loving these instruments. They are very sturdy wooden construction and are just as pictured. My one suggestion is to be aware that the sticks can become dangerous when a younger child waves them around. Read more

All instruments were well constructed ; however the sound produced from the maracas was hardly audible……so soft that it did not interest a child…..other were fine…….I had expected that a product with the endorsement of the Montessori name would be musically researched. Read more

Love this set! Instruments are of great quality and my son is and to use them without an issue or the worry of him breaking any piece easily. Obviously I still need to teach him how to use each one but overall don't regret this purchase. He does love the xylophone though. Read more
