This is perfect if you’re a reseller or wanna hold your comics safely. The lid closes perfectly and it locks good too! I had a moment today actually where I transported all those comics to my grandmothers house it was super easy to move around. The black or white is perfect if you want it to blend or stand out, and it’s super easy to install it’s literally unfold and insert the bottom. It’s a decent option, especially for someone dipping their toe into collecting - I probably wouldn’t trust them to stack (you might be able to get away with stacking two high) - better off with cardboard for large collections that need to stack I’d think. The sides of the box are thin but seem sturdy - like they might be made of some type of wood. As others have mentioned, there is a smell that reminds me of ready-to-assemble furniture (like Ikea), I’m thinking the sides might be made of particle board - not vile, but it is quite pungent. I ordered two of these. At $-3 apiece, it was a great price. These boxes are snug and practical, and are definitely more attractive than a plain cardboard box. If you collect comics (seriously or casually) these make for a nice addition to your library. Read more
