I have had a good hand mixer, at least, for a couple of decades; however, I was storing it in a hard-surfaced, plastic storage case from two hand mixers earlier. It was a great way to store it. Well, the storage case finally bit the dust. I couldn't find another case like it. I bought this case for no other good reason than that I needed something. I have been pleasantly surprised. The case is perfect. I doubt I will ever fold up the case, but you can do that if you are on a baking binge. The bottom, top, and sides are plenty sturdy enough. The case reminds me of my the cases in which I store my good dishes. Read more
