A little thin
These legwarmers are a little thin. I don't know how warm they will keep my legs, but I like that are cozy on my legs. They are not loose and do not feel like they will fall down. In the same way, they are not too tight and will not leave marks on my legs. I think they may be more of a visual accessory than to actually keep my legs warm in cold weather. I would say that these would suffice for weather in the upper 50s to 60s. It is like the difference between cotton socks and nylon socks. The cotton socks are definitely warmer, but not as warm as wool socks. These leg warmers will help keep the chill off without making me too warm. I live in Texas where it is pretty warm, but I am going to Alaska where it is cold. I have been told that layering is the key to managing the weather in Alaska. These legwarmers definitely add a layer of warmth. Read more
