LEGO 76013 Superheroes Batman The Joker Steam Roller

This Lego set is a must buy for kids or adults that like DC and/or want set exclusive minifigs. The price is decent for the number of pieces (~.10/piece) and a very creative build that will keep your kids entertained for hours. The pieces are separated into 5 different bags that make this set easy to build with little frustration. A great set to build alone or with someone else. Pros: - Comes with 5 minifigs and 4 are exclusive to just this set (Batgirl, short version Robin, Joker with hat and a Joker goon). - Has 2 different, unique builds, basically a 2 in 1. The Bat Jet-like build has flick missiles and contracting wings, while the Joker steam roller has a great pieced-together roller and room for multiple minifigs to sit inside. - Very sturdy. All the pieces stay in place well and have moving parts move with ease. Cons: - The Batman minifig is too common. I bought this set and put it together at my work between calls. It comes with 5 figures. The Joker reminds me of Jack Nicholson from the 1989 movie. I love the purple hat is comes with. Joker and the goon come with one face where the others have a dual face. Accessories for the figures are ok, but the prize is the crowbar. For those that know the Batman universe, you will remember the crowbar from Death in the Family. You also get a "BANG" gun and Robin's Bo. The Batwing was a bit flimsy on the build but when done it can then handle regular play. The steam roller is the a prize. It rolling across a table makes a great noise. It is also a BRICK. Other then the cab, this is one solid toy. I feel this will handle the roughest plays. I like the mouth and have plans to try out different teeth for it. Read more

My grandson (age 5) loves, loves this steamroller. However, he likes to play with the sets once he builds them, and this one falls apart easily. We're thinking of gluing some of the pieces together! Read more

This is a six-star set of legos but I took off two stars because it (like so many legos) is overpriced. Seventy bucks for this? No way! I paid $50 from amazon, but that is still too much. However I did purchase it because it's amazing. Five great figures - Batman, Batgirl, Robin, The Joker and Joker goon! The Joker is one of the best figures in all of the superheroes sets and Batgirl is also cool! The steamroller clicks and moves and is an engineering marvel (no pun intended). My grandson, six years old, put this together by himself, these toys add so much to children's lives. It gets them off of the computer and building with their hands. He is six and is able to follow the directions, I think following directions is a skill that many children miss in their younger years. This LEGO set delivers two very fun to build vehicles as well as having all characters be exclusive, except for Batman. Damian Wayne Robin and Batgirl are great additions to LEGO and DC fans will be happy to have him. Besides that, these LEGO sets are great for any kid or collector, I just wish that the Batman was different than he is because this version of Batman has been seen in sets way too much. Read more

Although this set has been around for some time now, I am glad I finally purchased it. Batgirl and Damian Wayne (robin) are the main draws to this set; however, I love the steamroller itself and Joker's hat design (reminds me of the Killing Joke for some reason). The Bat-Wing is pretty cool too, but the features mentioned above is pretty good incentive to get this set. Read more
