LEGO City Demolition Service Truck

This product is great for all ages. It was a simple build that most children would be able to but together. The finished design looks well done and as with any vehicle, there is hours of potential play time. The porta potty is a great touch and adds a lot of potential. This is a rarer type item that was neat to get at this price point. There were 2 minifigures that came with this truck as well as lots of accessories. some of which include toilet paper, trash can, barriers, broom, jackhammer, hats, and a couple other things as well. the crane part works well and is just long enough to get the potty off the trailer. the only slight issue is the hinge pieces for the side walls come off the truck on occasion. What a fun set for our kids. They have started to turn our living room in to a construction site. Our 4 year old has informational cartoons in the back ground about big trucks and construction vehicles, and plays along with his legos while watching it. Was a hit with the kids and a good set. He even makes his workers go to the bathroom now and then. I did not get this for free, I did not get a discount, I paid with my hard earned money and decided to purchase this biased on real reviews. My 5 year old got this set for Easter. He was beyond thrilled to now have a "potty" for his lego guys. Before he got this he informed me that his legos had to pee in the lake he built. I would say the recommended 5-12 is true for the directions and skill level. Thank you lego for ending potty envy at our lego table (my 9yo has a Lego Friends set that came with a potty). Read more

1. Obviously Amazon has the best prices for the more current Lego models 2. Lego toy sets are always high quality, fun to build and play However, this particular set is somewhat lacking in complexity and versatility, which I think would better justify a $20 price point than $25. For example, The base of the crane is somewhat weak-looking, and the crane itself barely reaches over the porta-potty. Nevertheless, still an interesting build and a good addition to a Lego city.
