I paid for this item in brand-new condition, but it came opened and played with. It was so clearly played with that the pieces are even dirty. I do not appreciate paying full price for used toys. Outside of that, I think these are great for 1-4 years old. We've been using Mega Blocks, but my toddlers now like to build structures, so the next step would be Duplo blocks.
