Great set, but it may be too hard for a child under 8 years of age or for a beginner builder
I really love this set. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and I love the fact that this set is interactive. The two ends of the forbidden section of the library are on swivels allowing them to swing out (see pictures above). However, this set is not an easy set to build and I wouldn’t recommend it for a child younger than 10 even though the box says 8+. With 656 pieces, an 8 year old may have a hard time with it and might need mom or dad to help them. Overall, I think this set is a must-have for any Harry Potter fan! Edit: When I was building this set, I noticed that it was missing quite a few pieces (see photos). It still looks great, nevertheless! At 656 pieces, it is a larger set and a more complex build than I was expecting. I would not recommend this set for a beginner builder. This set is a great value for any Harry Potter fan! Read more
