Software compatibility issues
The product itself appears to be nice. The reason for the rating is the company's refusal to provide the software app that was available at the time of purchase. In the meantime, Lego produced new version of the software (compatible with MacOs Catalina) which changed significantly the user interface (now it is based on Scratch and before it wasn't). According to my son (end user, age 12) the new software is very difficult to use and in addition in his school they use the old software. Lego's representative response to the request to download the old software was that the only version they have is posted on the web page, and she refused to even consider forwarding my request to somebody who may be able to help. I'm very disappointed that a company such as Lego would provide such a low level of support for their clients, in particularly for a product which is not really inexpensive. Read more
