This is an excellent set in at least two areas: One: LEGO minifigs are typically $3 a pop, and that is just for regular minifigs, not the rare ones. In this set you get 5 minifigs for $15. Plus you get the infamous couch and a little car to boot. Two: If the above didn't sell you on this set--perhaps you might be thinking that the couch and car are a waste and all people want are the minifigs--then consider that the minifigs in this set are the rare ones, you would otherwise have to buy $100 sets to get. Perhaps someone might be even more cynical and state that now these minifigs are no longer rare, since they are found in a $15 set. I would respond with the following: these are the minifigures everyone wants, and previously could not get without a high buy in. Batman, Wildstyle and Bad Cop are not here, but had for cheap costs elsewhere. Seriously, if you like the LEGO movie, or have kids/grandkids who like the movie, then get this set. Also... I got this set for $10 which makes it an easy buy! Read more

We love all things Lego, and Lego Movie, at our house, so this set was a must have. The couch was a focus in the movie, so it was of course a favorite with my 5 year old! It comes with lots of the characters, which was a big plus. The double decker couch and cute little car were so fun for my son to put together. He loved this set, and for the price it was a great value for how much he liked it, and how many pieces there were. Read more

This is a small and nice set, the most attractive feature is that you get four minifigures (Lord Business, Benny, Ghost Vitruvius and Emmet) plus an Unikitty figure (which is exclusive to this set and quite nice actually). The couch itself is nothing extraordinary, and the included mini-car is the most basic of builds. Think of it as a LEGO Movie figure pack, good for its price. Completists will probably enjoy it more than kids, as Emmet and Lord Business can be easily found as minifigures by themselves (Minifigures Series) or in other sets. If you liked the movie and get on what the double decker couch meant, this is a great purchase (it makes a great display). Otherwise, well just a regular set. Read more

This is just so cute and my son loved recreating the scene from the movie. It is also a great purchase as many characters are included. Many of our Lego sets just become thrown around the house until I put them in a container with the other Lego pieces, but my 7 year old still picks this toy up occasionally and plays with it months after Christmas so I say it is a winner! My son loved the minifigures that came with this set. For the minifigures it is worth it, except for the cat. The cat is not a minifigure but more of a lego you put together. She kept falling apart. My son didn't care about the cat but if buying for the cat, she does not hold together well. My son expected the double decker couch to have compartments for the minifigures to go into, like the movie, however it does not. Read more

This was a "used, acceptable item"; however, it was missing so many pieces. It was a Christmas present, and we were all disappointed. Emmet's entire car was missing, and President Business was missing. Read more

Ah Legos....how I wish my grandpa had invented these simple little toys! My boy is a Lego fiend. What do you want for your birthday? Legos. How about Christmas? Legos. What are you saving your allowance for? Legos. I have spent a fortune on Legos! Thankfully I had two Rubbermaid tubs of my little brothers from way back when they were cheap! Of course Legos are likely the sixth level of Hell. Just Legos thrown on the ground and the folks have to walk on them for eternity. You'll also likely vacuum up a couple hundred dollars worth over time. Or find them in the wash. Or the crack of the car seat. However, Legos are so fun! They allow the kids(or adults!) to follow directions, look at how things are constructed and let them mimic things. On the flip side they also allow a child(or adult) to build whatever their mind can come up with. Creativity, fine motor skills and hours and hours of fun! The Lego Movie was cute and my boy of course loved it. Legos in lego movie theme? No brainer! Read more

Exactly what you would expect but only took about 2 min to put together (now what). Had it not been my 10yo son's choice about how to spend his $ I wouldn't have gotten it. Much preferred the one he made with his "junk" Legos. Read more
