Please ignore Dan's Review over this product. If you clearly don't know anything about Ninjago then don't bother comment on it. This DVD includes the 44 min SPECIAL Day of the Deprated which is I guess you could say a TV Movie. This is not a season and there's no reason to sell a DVD for just one special episode, so they included other episodes from other seasons to make it worth your money. If you're looking for Season 7 (The Hands of Time) then you're in the wrong place as at the time of this review, it hasn't been released here in the USA, but you could search it up on YouTube to see it in another language. If you enjoyed Day of the Departed then here is the DVD of it. And one thing I love about this is that it comes with 6 Bonus Episodes!!! One from each of the 6 seasons out at the time. The nice thing about each is that it shows you each of the villains the ninja faced across the seasons, as the episodes chosen were all focused on them. Ex. Never Trust A Snake-Pythor, The Day Ninjago Stood Still-Stone Army, The Art of the Silent Fist-Nindroids, The Invitation-Chen/Elemental Masters, Winds of Change-Morro, and Wishmasters-Nadakhan?(This one makes no sense as he isn't in Day of the Departed. The one exception from all of this is Samukai as he was only in the Pilots (And technically Wrong Place Wrong Time). Overall if you are new to ninjago this is a great DVD to get you to figure out what the story is(I'm talking to you guys coming from the ninjago movie). Otherwise it isn't on Netflix and I just buy every DVD anyways. PS Another way to find out about the villains if you don't figure it out by the episodes is to watch the stories of each of the characters. Look them up on LEGO's youtube channel. Read more

Okay break away from Season 6

This is a special that takes place after Season 6 of Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu and runs for 45 minutes. The special seeks to resolve some Season 5 plot points while also being a throwback to almost every season up to that point. In the meanwhile the special tries to set up for Season 7. Overall the special ends up not having enough time to actually be anything other than a neat at best throwback. I can recommend picking this up if you want to see it all but overall it can be skipped in favor of going right onto season 7. (Worth mentioning that the DVD contains 6 episodes from previous seasons to help as a catch up.) Read more
