LEGO NINJAGO Thunderfang Dragon of Chaos Building Toy for Kids Ages 8 - Dragon Rising Playset with 6

I bought this Ninjago Thunderfang Dragon set for my son and he absolutely loved it. The build is detailed and fun without being frustrating, and the final dragon looks very impressive once completed. The colors, wings, and moving parts make it a great display piece, and the 6 minifigures give kids a lot of play possibilities. It took my son a few sessions to finish, which I liked because it kept him entertained and focused. Quality is excellent as expected from LEGO. Perfect set. Everything about it, from the minifigures to the chains was fantastic. It is huge and very poseable. It is super fun to play with and the minifigures are really cool as well, especially Nokt. It has a unique feature where it is chained down to a small side build but can be released with the two prismatic blades included (mine even came with an extra one.) I slightly modified it so it has five chains and is show accurate but even as is it's great. The red and purple color scheme is unique and looks great. The dragon is bipedal with two arms all ending in sharp claws. It has a long curved body which the limbs and wings attach to with ball joints. The wings are made of technic parts with a large bendable plastic piece slid on. The head is two major parts with super cool printing attached with a couple smaller parts. It is well worth the money which is $70. It has 668 pieces which makes for a large and well designed build. Read more

Still mad he died halfway through the season as the BBEG, lol, but the builds pretty good. It has lots of articulation, lots of play function, and looks really good as a model.If that's what you're looking for. would recommend. Read more

My 9 year old loves this thing. He's into monsters and scary things and this is right but his ally. Lego is a little on the expensive side in my opinion but the quality is there. The wings are rubbery and unlikely to rip and the Lego pieces are as durable as ever.
